PEREGRINE
range of equipment was originally manufactured and supplied by Power Frequency
Heating Ltd., which started in business in 1954. Customers at that time
included; the M.O.D., Fire and Health authorities, and many private car and
commercial vehicle owners.
Over
the years the range of PEREGRINE
equipment has gradually increased, and in 1984 the company directors retired. At
that time there was a management take-over and a change to the company name of
Preheat Engineering Ltd. The range of equipment has diversified and been greatly
extended since that time, and also a far greater number of customer
specials are being produced now than ever before.
Records
of equipment and applications have been archived, in many cases going back as
far as 1954, ensuring that customers who require replacement parts can be
assured of the product and component traceability and availability.
The
company’s policy is to supply high quality products backed by a fully reliable
service, full technical assistance, and efficient, prompt deliveries at all
times. There are no minimum order quantities or values, all products are backed
by a 12 or 18 month straight forward warranty, and all members of staff have a
friendly and helpful approach to dealing with customer enquiries and needs.
The
company has always maintained a policy of keeping up with current trends and
technologies in order to assist the customer, hence the introduction of this

been the ability to accept payment over the telephone by credit, debit and
